A standard feature of every Outpost 6.5 is our multifunctional dinette that serves as table space, a large couch area, and a second sleeping or lounge area. Core to the dinette being so versatile is the Lagun table mount with a beautiful piece of bamboo ply for the table top. The table can be arranged in different orientations and at different heights so it works well for a variety of people and tasks from dinner time to arts and crafts time.
If you want a large couch’s worth of seating space in the dinette, simply stash the table on the back wall using a mount that comes standard on every Outpost 6.5. This is as easy as a few twists of a knob to loosen and tighten the rubber padded mount. The Lagun table mount even has a place to securely store the vertical pole on the underside of the table.
If you want to kick back in lounge mode or sleep a smaller person, drop the table into the slats in order to convert the dinette into a second bed! One of the back cushions slides perfectly into this space to create a super comfortable bed area.
