Step-by-step
Step 1: Place your $1250 deposit
Secure your spot in our production schedule with a $1,250 non-refundable deposit* made directly through our website.
This deposit confirms your intent to purchase and gives you access to future steps, including selecting build options and receiving an estimated delivery window. Please review our Preorder Agreement for full terms.
*Starting June 1, 2025, all new deposits will be non-refundable and set at $1,250. This change will help us streamline production and reduce lead times. If you placed your deposit before June 1, 2025, it will remain fully refundable.
Step 2: Finalize your build
Roughly 8 weeks before production begins, we’ll send you a form to lock in your options. Browse our Optional Add-On Guide to understand available upgrades like additional solar, indoor showers, and more.
Once you submit your choices, we’ll create a Buyer’s Order showing your final “out-the-door” price.
Step 3: Submit 10% Production Deposit
To kick off production, you’ll make a second payment equal to 10% of your final build price, including your initial $1,250 deposit.
This payment is also non-refundable and secures your final configuration and place in the production queue.
Step 4: Production Begins
With your selections confirmed and production deposit received, we’ll begin building your camper. We’ll also coordinate with you on pickup, delivery, or shipping details.
Step 5: Final Payment
Before pickup or shipment, the remaining balance of your build will be due. If needed, up to 90% of the total cost can be financed, learn more about financing options here. We’ll walk you through this final step to ensure everything is squared away for a smooth handoff.
Step 6: Delivery Options
Option A: Pickup in Bayfield, CO
Come visit our Bayfield facility for a full walkthrough of your new camper. We’ll show you how everything works and can also install the DC-to-DC cable on your truck for an additional fee (if needed).
Option B: Pick up from a Dealer
Prefer to collect your camper from a local dealer? We’re expanding our network across the U.S. and Canada. Let us know early so we can plan accordingly. You can find our current dealers here.
Option C: Ship to you
We can coordinate with a trusted transport partner to deliver your camper directly to you. Just let us know you’re interested.
Please note: Receiving delivery of an Outpost Camper may require a forklift for unloading.

Financing Your Outpost 6.5
