At Outpost Campers, our mission is simple: build the most capable truck camper on the planet, without breaking the bank. The standard build of every Outpost is designed to meet the needs of most adventurers right out of the gate. But for those looking to push boundaries with longer trips, more conveniences, and extreme weather, we offer a range of optional add-ons to take capability even further.
Each camper has its own lineup, so start with your model below. The Outpost 6.5 list is the full catalog we have built out since 2024. The Outpost 8.0 launches with a select group of add-ons, and we are already working on more. Check back often.
Outpost 6.5 Add-ons
Exterior Add-Ons
Roof Rack – $995
You asked and we listened! We now have a roof rack option for additional storage on the roof that can be easily accessed by our new ladder option. The beauty of our unique roof rack design is its flexibility – you can still have a second solar panel installed on the rear with minimal shading from direct overhead sunlight (without gear installed of course) thanks to the adjustable bars or you have the flexibility to remove them completely. This is truly a one-of-a-kind roof rack designed specifically for what you need out of your Outpost 6.5!
Weight: 21 lbs
Rear Ladder – $795
Accessing your roof has never been easier with our ladder option! This design still allows for tailgates to close while making it possible to get to the roof to clean solar panels or access items on our new roof rack option! When selected this ladder gets riv-nuted into the extrusions making for a super strong attachment while being removable if ever needed down the road.
Weight: 10 lbs
MOLLE Panel – $385
MOLLE panels are a great way to add extra storage to the exterior of your camper. Measuring in at 31”W x 19.5”H x 1.75″D our custom panels can be mounted in four locations on the 2025 Outpost 6.5. With a recommended max load of 50 lbs the MOLLE is a great place to mount things such as awnings, recovery boards, rotopax, shovels, and more! Select up to 4 panels for maximum storage on your build. One can be mounted on the rear of the driver side, one on the back above the diesel heater box location, and up to two side by side on the passenger side allowing for longer accessories such as awnings, recovery boards, ski racks, shovels, etc.
Additional weight: 6 lbs (empty)
Diesel Heater Box – $2,699
We completely redesigned the box that contains the diesel heater in order to add more function and better fit the aesthetic of the rest of the camper. Complete with lockable latches and an integrated MOLLE panel for additional storage plus a hook to keep the door secure.
Using the same proven German engineered Espar heater to provide consistent, dry heat in any condition, functional at altitudes over 13,000 feet. Combined with a 2.8 gallon fuel tank the diesel heater provides steady, reliable heat that sips fuel and electricity. Reserve your camper today, we’ll confirm the add-ons you’re interested in before your camper goes into production.

Additional weight: 30 lbs
400 Watt Folding Solar Panel – $769
Want even more off-grid capabilities? Bring along an EcoFlow 400 watt folding portable solar panel with adjustable kickstand. Couple with the extra rooftop solar, this gives the Outpost 6.5 a whopping 900 watts off-grid solar power production. Enough to run the optional air conditioner 100% on solar power while still charging batteries in optimal sun conditions!
Front Panel Windows – $1150
When selected we’ll install two windows on the front panel (where the Outpost symbol normally is) of the Outpost 6.5 giving you two double pane acrylic windows to provide 270 views from the bed area. Complete with an awning style opening and integrated bug and privacy curtains just like the four other windows that come standard on the Outpost 6.5.
Camper Jack Extensions – $75
Have a wider truck or plan on taking on and off the camper regularly? Add some camper jack extensions to the front camper jack mounts to make loading and unloading a breeze.
Interior Add-ons
Froli Sleep System – $295
Our newest option is the Froli sleep system that adds a whole new level of comfort and moisture management to the already great 5” memory foam mattress that comes standard. When selected we install the Froli Sleep System fit perfectly for the Outpost 6.5 in the main cab over sleep area. This system adds extra comfort, serving as a box spring alternative helping form the mattress to your body regardless of how you sleep. In addition to comfort, it also adds a ton of airflow under the mattress to help with moisture management that can form when camping in cold temps or for longer periods of time. When installed it adds about 1.5” of height to the overall mattress height.
Weight: ~5 lbs
On-Demand Water Heater – $950
Enjoy hot water wherever you camp. This compact electric tankless water heater delivers instant, on-demand hot water using the Outpost 6.5’s robust electrical system. No propane, no bulky tanks—just reliable comfort powered by the energy already onboard.
Indoor Shower Enclosure – $449
This collapsible shower enclosure gives you the ability to shower inside your Outpost 6.5! If you select this option we will add hooks to the ceiling of your Outpost 6.5 where the shower curtain hangs from that is then attached to a portable shower basin with magnets.
Insulated Rear Door Cover – $150
Need extra privacy with some added insulation? Add an insulated, black out door cover to your two stage rear door.
Additional weight: ~1 lb
Outpost 8.0 Add-ons
The Outpost 8.0 is our newest camper, and its add-on list is shorter than the 6.5 list on purpose. Part of that is because the 8.0 is new. The bigger reason is that several of the most popular Outpost 6.5 upgrades are simply built into the 8.0 from the factory.
The list below is what is available today. We are already working on more, and we will keep adding to it as we bring even more capability to this camper. Check back often.
