Standard Features

Everything listed below comes in the standard Outpost 8.0 build.

5,000 watt hour EcoFlow Lithium Ion battery (416 amp hour 12v equivalent).

Every Outpost 8.0 comes with a 500w solar panel mounted to the roof with the option to upgrade to 900w by adding an additional fold out panel.

Pre-wired for plug-in external portable briefcase solar array

EcoFlow touchscreen console with Wifi/Bluetooth capability for monitoring the electrical system.

The Outpost 8.0 comes standard with 3 forms of charging your power bank: solar, shore power, and from your truck alternator. All of this power flows through the EcoFlow powerhub that features a 3000 watt inverter/charger, dual MPPT solar charge controllers and 60 amp DC-DC alternator charger

Custom designed for the Outpost 8.0 our camper features lightweight, powder coated aluminum cabinets that are incredibly strong and durable. They also feature dimmable LED lights underneath.

Easily load and unload your Outpost 8.0 with the included manual camper jacks. Not taking your camper off our truck? The camper jacks are easily removed when not in use.

Industry leading four-season windows with integrated bug screens and privacy shades are standard. The standard door features a lockable two piece screen door with a dog-proof stainless steel mesh covering.

Turn your dinette into a second sleeping arrangement that creates roughly a twin size area for the kids or your guests.

Hot shower at the trailhead, and a door you can actually close. The 8.0 has a true interior wet bath with a full height shower and a detachable fixture, a sliding translucent door, and a fixed cassette toilet serviced through an access hatch on the outside of the camper. Nothing gets carried back through your kitchen, and there is nothing to set up when you want to rinse off.

5” thick memory foam mattress comes standard for the best night of sleep in your camper. Oriented north/south so no one needs to climb over their partner.

The Outpost 8.0 comes standard with a Maxxair Deluxe Remote operated roof fan and a Maxxair Dome fan with integrated light ring. Combined with the incredible insulation factor from the panels and the four double pane acrylic windows there is plenty of airflow to keep you cool even on the hottest of days.

We maximize every square inch in the camper including one storage compartment built into the floor while still retaining over 6’5” of standing height inside of the camper.

A 90L fridge with integrated freezer compartment comes standard. This fridge is incredibly energy efficient running off 12V off-grid power. It also features a secure positive latch to keep your food tidy even as you are getting after it down a trail.

Portable single burner induction cooktop allows you to cook inside or outside with the camper’s regenerating electrical system.

A deep stainless steel sink with drop-in cutting board may make you forget you are in your camper and not in your dream kitchen at home.

A 40 gallon fresh water tank, 20 gallon grey water tank, and 5 gallon black water tank with rear hatch for exterior access come standard. All tanks live inside the camper making it safe regardless of the season.

Constructed from a sustainable bamboo plywood our countertops are both aesthetic and functional.

Optional Add-Ons

Below are the currently available add-ons you can select to add to your Outpost 8.0 build.

Ten kilowatt hours total, which is the difference between checking your state of charge and forgetting it exists. Worth it if you run the air conditioning, work from the camper, or park in the trees for a week at a time. It fills from the same solar, alternator, and shore inputs as the first one.

Weight: 90 lbs

Accessing your roof has never been easier with our ladder option! This design still allows for tailgates to close while making it possible to get to the roof to clean solar panels or access items on our new roof rack option! When selected this ladder gets riv-nuted into the extrusions making for a super strong attachment while being removable if ever needed down the road.

Weight: 10 lbs

MOLLE panels are a great way to add extra storage to the exterior of your camper. Measuring in at 31”w x 19.5”h our custom panels can be mounted in three locations on the Outpost 8.0. With a recommended max load of 50 lbs the MOLLE is a great place to mount things such as awnings, recovery boards, rotopax, shovels, and more! Select up to 3 panels for maximum storage on your build.

Weight: 8 lbs

Our newest option is the FROLI sleep system that adds a whole new level of comfort and moisture management to the already great 5” memory foam mattress that comes standard. When selected we install the FROLI Sleep System fit perfectly for the Outpost 6.5 in the main cab over sleep area. This system adds extra comfort, serving as a box spring alternative, helping form the mattress to your body regardless of how you sleep. In addition to comfort, it also adds a ton of airflow under the mattress to help with moisture management that can form especially when camping in cold temps or for longer periods of time. When installed it adds about 1.5” of height to the overall mattress height.

Weight: ~5 lbs

Mount your Starlink Mini inside the cabinet against your camper’s ceiling and power it straight from DC with the included USB-C Power Delivery plug. Clean, secure, and always ready when you are. Patent pending.

Weight: ~1 lbs

Have a wider truck? Add some camper jack extensions to the front camper jack mounts to make loading and unloading a breeze.

Chasing warm weather? The 48v air conditioner runs straight off the battery, so you get real cooling parked in the desert with nothing plugged in and no generator running. It sits over the dinette and the bed, which is where you want it at two in the afternoon and again at midnight.

Weight: 42 lbs

When selected we’ll install two windows on the front panel (where the Outpost symbol normally is) of the Outpost 6.5 giving you two double pane acrylic windows to provide 270 views from the bed area. Complete with an awning style opening and integrated bug and privacy curtains just like the four other windows that come standard on the Outpost 6.5.

You asked and we listened! We now have a roof rack option for additional storage on the roof that can be easily accessed by our new ladder option. The beauty of our unique roof rack design is its flexibility – you can still have a second solar panel installed on the rear with minimal shading from direct overhead sunlight (without gear installed of course) thanks to the adjustable bars or you have the flexibility to remove them completely. This is truly a one-of-a-kind roof rack designed specifically for what you need out of your Outpost 6.5!

Weight: 21 lbs

Want even more off-grid capabilities? Bring along an EcoFlow 400 watt folding portable solar panel with adjustable kickstand. Couple with the extra rooftop solar, this gives the Outpost 6.5 a whopping 900 watts off-grid solar power production. Enough to run the optional air conditioner 100% on solar power in optimal sun conditions!

Need extra privacy with some added insulation? Add an insulated, black out door cover to your rear door.

Weight: ~1 lb

New Larger Cabover for N/S Sleeping

The 8.0 shell was designed from the ground up around an 8 foot bed, and that one decision changed everything above it. The cabover runs longer, so a queen mattress fits north to south instead of wall to wall. The cabover gets extended to accommodate, which buys interior floor space without stretching the camper out past your bumper. And the tailgate still closes.

A look inside the new larger layout

Inside, the extra length went where it counts. A full wet bath with a standing height shower, a galley with real counter and cabinet space, and 6′ 4″ of headroom so you are not cooking hunched over. Everything that keeps this camper comfortable in any season runs on the off-grid electrical system or diesel fuel, which is why there is no propane anywhere in the build.

North/South sleeping with a full length 5"
memory foam queen sized mattress

Full wet bath with onboard fresh, grey and black tanks

Propane-free kitchen with integrated microwave and portable induction cooktop

Truma Combi mounts underneath the kitchen
counter with separate heat registers in the kitchen,
bathroom, and bed area

Dinette converts into a second roughly twin size sleeping area.
