The Outpost 6.5 is back for 2026 with a suite of upgrades designed to push your adventures further. Our mission remains the same: building the world’s most capable truck campers at an incredible value.
The 2026 model year doubles down on that promise, introducing integrated optional add-ons for even more utility and refined interior touches for lasting comfort on the trail.
What's New for 2026?
Interior Refinements
New 90L Fridge!
We’ve increased capacity with a larger 90L fridge, adding 4L of additional storage compared to previous models. It features a redesigned shelving layout and a high-security latch to keep your supplies in place on the roughest washboard roads. Like its predecessor, it is incredibly efficient on 12V off-grid power.
New Upholstery!
New upholstery keeps the same durable cover over a comfy cushion but adds some additional softness for those inevitable camp moments where you are forced to stay inside for longer than intended.
Updated Bench
Our updated bench features dovetail construction, making the top panels more secure and easier access both the toilet and utility compartments. We also added a custom notch to the Lagun table to ensure it stays rock-solid while you sleep or lounge.
Expanded Optional Add-Ons
You asked, we listened. These new factory-installed options are designed to integrate perfectly with the Outpost 6.5 ecosystem.
New! Roof Rack
Our new roof rack option allows for additional storage on the roof that can be easily accessed by our new ladder option. The beauty of our unique roof rack design is its flexibility – you can still have a second solar panel installed on the rear with minimal shading from direct overhead sunlight (without gear installed of course) thanks to the adjustable bars or you have the flexibility to remove them completely. This is truly a one-of-a-kind roof rack designed specifically for what you need out of your Outpost 6.5!
New! Rear Ladder
Accessing your roof has never been easier with our ladder option! This design still allows for tailgates to close while making it possible to get to the roof to clean solar panels or access items on our new roof rack option! When selected this ladder gets mounted onto the camper making for a super strong attachment.
New! Diesel Heater Box
We completely redesigned the box that contains the diesel heater in order to add more function and better fit the aesthetic of the rest of the camper. Complete with lockable latches and an integrated MOLLE panel for additional storage plus a hook to keep the door secure.
Using the same proven German engineered Espar heater to provide consistent, dry heat in any condition, functional at altitudes over 13,000 feet. Combined with a 2.8 gallon fuel tank the diesel heater provides steady, reliable heat that sips fuel and electricity. Reserve your camper today, we’ll confirm the add-ons you’re interested in before your camper goes into production.
New! Dual Front Windows
When selected we’ll install two windows on the front panel (where the Outpost symbol normally is) of the Outpost 6.5 giving you two double pane acrylic windows to provide 270 views from the bed area. Complete with an awning style opening and integrated bug and privacy curtains just like the four other windows that come standard on the Outpost 6.5.
Same Incredible Off-Grid Capabilities, Year-Round.
The Outpost 6.5 is designed to take you wherever your truck can go and keep you out there in comfort. Complete with a super robust electrical system that comes standard with a 5kWh LFP battery that can charge 3 ways: solar, dc-dc, and shore power. Being a completely propane-free camper the standard build features an induction cook-top, a deep stainless steel sink, a new larger 90l fridge, bamboo plywood, powder-coated aluminum cabinets and more!
This is a camper built and designed by outdoor enthusiasts based in Southwest Colorado where the best campsites are just around the next corner and the weather can swing extremes in the matter of a moment.
