The advanced Lithium Ion electrical system standard on the Outpost 6.5 can recharge via solar, your vehicle’s alternator, or shore power.

How do I secure my Outpost 6.5 to my truck?
The Outpost 6.5 comes standard with an internal tie-down system to secure the camper to the inside tie-down points of your truck bed with marine style transom straps. Can I use the camper for camping when it is off the truck?
The Outpost 6.5 is fully removable from the truck using the four standard manual camper jacks. When the camper is not secured to a truck, it is necessary to support the cabover portion or secure the camper to the ground for the cabover part of the camper to be usable.
Can I add an air conditioner to my Outpost 6.5?
Yes. The air conditioner can be added as when you order your camper or sometime down the road. The air conditioner option replaces the Maxxair Deluxe fan and when added as a factory option, a smaller Maxxair Dome fan is added next to the air conditioner for fresh air ventilation.
