Purchase Process Overview

We have been absolutely blown away by the interest & response to the Outpost 6.5 since we launched it just a few months ago. Since we’ve launched there have been a lot of questions about the details of how the purchase process works to get you into the Outpost 6.5! Step-by-Step

Step 1: Place your $1000 deposit on our website

The initial deposit locks your spot in our production line. Once you place the deposit we will reach out to you with an estimated delivery date. Rest assured this deposit is 100% refundable at any time for any reason up until the buyers contract needs to be signed 2 weeks prior to your camper going into production. 

Step 2: Finalize your Outpost 6.5 build

Take a look through our Pricing & Options page to go over any and all optional add-ons you may want for your camper. 4 weeks prior to your camper going into production we will send you a form for you to officially select all of the options you want on your Outpost 6.5. This allows us to generate a buyers order for your build with a final out the door price. 

Step 3: Place Non-Refundable 10% Deposit

A second deposit equal to 10% of the total cost of your Outpost 6.5 build as defined on your buyers order form will confirm your camper goes into production with all of the options that you have selected. Your initial deposit of $1000 will count towards this 10% deposit. At this point the deposit becomes non-refundable.

In addition to the deposit we will have you sign the buyers order contract to be signed that confirms all details about your camper. 

Step 4: Your Outpost 6.5 is in production

Now that your camper is officially going into production it is time to decide whether you’d like to pick up your camper in Bayfield, CO or have it shipped to you.

Step 5a: Picking Up your Outpost 6.5 in Bayfield, CO

If you decide to pick up your at our facility in Bayfield, CO we will give you a full tutorial of how your new Outpost 6.5 works and everything you may need to know to have years of adventures in your camper. We can also wire the dc-dc connection on your truck for an additional cost if you have not already done this.

Step 5b: Shipping the Outpost 6.5 to you. 

Shipping is a totally viable option for getting your Outpost 6.5. If this is the route you would like to take let us know as soon as possible so we can work on the logistics of arranging a shipping vendor once your camper is done. 

Step 6: Final Payment 

The remaining amount of your camper is due prior to you picking up or shipping your camper. We can work with you directly to ensure you are clear on how to pay for your Outpost 6.5

Financing Options

Financing is available on the Outpost 6.5 through our partner, New Coast. Up to 90% of the final out the door price is financeable. To learn more about financing please visit our financing page.
